Great wholesome fun. From atv and dirt bikes to trucks and jeeps. Camping, hiking, horseback riding, even a decent gun range.

Really cool Park. I could park overnight and camp for free. Not crowded. Lots of wildlife, fairly temperate even in Fall. There are hiking trails, bike trails, a paved road for vehicles to take you partially into Park if you want a lighter experience. Rangers recommend orange during hunting season so don't forget. Water levels low ATM the Creeks mostly sitting water so make sure to pack in what you need. Impossible to get lost, good for beginner backpackers.

First time coming out here to ride the atv trails and it was great. I will definitely be coming back. There is a good mix of trails and difficulty.

This was my first time at URE so I wasn't sure what to expect. I did prepare for the worst and hoped for the best and it paid off big! This place is so cool! The other people there were very friendly and respectful and helpful when needed. I seen everything from hard core rock crawlers to completely stock vehicles making some crazy climbs and descents. I was very impressed! The good folks at the outpost where you buy your pass were very friendly and the prices for merchandise was very fair!!! I had a blast and can't wait to go back. P.S. The two Park Rangers on the sidexside THANK YOU!!! You know who you are;)

It's nice to have mountains and camping this close to the city. It's hard to tell sometimes if you are on private or forest land as there are a lot of houses. I didn't catch any fish from the pier but next time I will bring my kayak.
